Our Winemakers

Maison Laudacius brings together passionate men and women who share a common vision of wine:

Respecting the land, showcasing the terroir, and offering sincere wines that reflect Montlouis-sur-Loire.

Under the leadership of Hervé Denis, former cooperative winemaker and president of the winery for over 8 years, the selection of our members is based on essential values: authenticity, high standards, solidarity, and respect for nature. Each cooperative winemaker is committed to carefully tending their vines through a responsible and sustainable approach.

To join our cooperative winery, winemakers must meet the stringent requirements of the Terra Vitis label, which guarantees viticulture that respects the environment, people, and consumers.

Terra Vitis is much more than a label: it is a philosophy.
It embodies the commitment to working the vineyard and producing wine with respect for biodiversity, soil health, and the well-being of those who cultivate it.

Thanks to this collective approach, our winemakers support one another, train together, and innovate as a group.
Each cuvée produced through this approach reflects the richness of our terroir and the deep commitment of our cooperative members.

The Terra Vitis approach has allowed us to share and pool our experiences, helping our cooperative members progress in their individual practices, in order to produce higher-quality grapes in the best interest of the consumer.

Organic farming – A natural step taken in 2024

At Maison Laudacius, nature has always been at the heart of our approach.
Respecting the vine, preserving the soils, and passing on a living terroir: these are the values that have guided our winemakers for over 60 years.

In 2024, this commitment was formalized with a second certification for our estate: Organic Farming (AB).

An official recognition that crowns several years of work, patience, and conviction, carried out with passion and humility.
